Protecting Your Pets From Mosquitoes

Summer time is a great and wonderful time. Everyone is outdoors including our furry four legged friends. They love to get out as much as we do. Taking them to the park is a great family bonding time. But you need to remember to stay on your toes about fleas, ticks, or mosquitoes on your pets. You also want to be knowledgeable about Insects That Bite (and how to keep them away!)

While protecting yourself from mosquito bites and spraying bug spray on humans can keep unwanted pests off us, it is terrible on our little furry babies. But there is dog spray available to keep bugs away from our pets.

If you aren’t a huge fan of the chemical sprays there are plenty of natural remedies that work just as well. Lemon Eucalyptus has a pretty repugnant smell to keep away mosquitoes and help protect you from the Zika Virus – mosquito borne disease.

The heat gets to all of us during the summer, especially mosquitoes. Leaving water bowls outside can be the perfect place for them to get a quick sip. So try to avoid leaving water dishes outside for extended periods of time.

If you have any broken window screens it’s time to fix them. Keeping your windows open is great only if no critters are crawling at night.

Contact Spartanburg pest control, Gotta Bug Call Doug at (864) 582-3684 to handle summer pest control and any bug problems that arise. We can suggest a personalized treatment plan for your home or office.
